Tortoiseshell - Aggey - Small - Adult - Female - Cat
Aggie was abandoned outside a factory area. Thankfully someone who was concerned for her welfare, as she was pregnant, finally gained her trust and captured her. She had a tough road, and her babies had died due to an extensive infection in her uterus, that was discovered when she was spayed. Thankfully our vet did an ultrasound when the babies hadn't moved, as she was quite far along, and we could save her life since we could not save theirs. Aggie is a beautiful short hair torti, she has been tested for feluk/fiv, spayed and fully vaccinated for rabies, distemper and leukemia. She has been wormed and treated for fleas. She is learning to trust, she hisses if you approach her too quickly, but once you pet her she relaxes. She is not interested in being picked up but given time and a small space to begin with, she will become more and more social. She just needs to learn she is safe, and she will not be abandoned again. She is wonderful with our other kittens, as she was far into her pregnancy before the babies perished, and has allowed the weaned kittens we have nurse off her. She is very tolerant of the other cats, given time, and would do best in a home with another cat or two (they would not be able to be aggressive/dominant). Her adoption fee is $125 and she must be an INDOOR only kitty. A veterinarian reference is required upon appointment scheduling.
